Hi my name is Tyson Apiata or you may call me Nera Ergos. I’m originally from the wairarapa in a town named Masterton and have lived there all of my life. I have really only been down to the Wellington a few times and are only now after three weeks of living here beginning to get the hang of where things are. I have enjoyed meeting more people and finding out what directions they have chosen to focused their studies. I attended Makoura College, where I spent three years of my life and also a group of my friends to design a game, which we all took mostly equal roles in it.
This is what pulled me even closer to what I have always wanted to do which is become a game designer and eventually start my own company. For 3 years of my life I have been learning the process of games and what it takes to create each component, like the story and systems that take place behind the scenes. Though at this moment I have only created one game demo. My hobbies include such things as drawing, video games, anime, game making, manga and mythology.

My inspirations for becoming a game designer is because of the Tetsuya Nomura who has worked on many of the games made by Square Enix like Final Fantasy and kingdom Hearts. Because of this I have made sure to learn anything necessary to become a Game designer/developer to achieve my goal. Mostly at the beginning he worked mostly on character design, but now has gone up the ranks of becoming the director on such projects as Final Fantasy XIII versus and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
These are the reasons for me choosing to do design to eventually to become a game designer.
